Magnified Giving Welcomes New Board Members

Magnified Giving is very proud to announce the addition of four new members to their Board of Directors starting July 1, 2022. Joining the board are Pam Amlung, Brent Billingsley, Ryan Nicley, and Carol Rosenau. 

“We are truly fortunate to welcome these new board members who are supportive of Magnified Giving’s mission - to educate, inspire and engage youth in philanthropy. All four bring their expertise and passion for developing the next generation of philanthropists in our community, to the table,” says Kelly Collison, Executive Director of Magnified Giving.  

Ryan Nicely

Ryan Nicley is the owner of Simpletech, a Cincinnati-based technology company which provides local restaurants and retailers with the POS software and support to help them grow and succeed. Ryan is a University of Cincinnati alum who is dedicated to serving businesses in the community through cost and time-efficient solutions. Previously, Ryan spent many years working in Information Technology at Aveda Fredric’s Institute before transitioning into a role as a Business Advocate for Get Beyond in 2017. 

Pam Amlung

Pam Amlung is an Estate and Probate lawyer, based in Blue Ash, Ohio. After graduating from Hanover College in 1987, Pam attended law school at the University of Cincinnati until 1991. Pam began her career at Thompson Hine and then served at SSP Co until starting her own practice in Blue Ash. Additionally, Pam is a mother to five girls and is very involved in her community, including the Ohio and Cincinnati Bar Associations, Northstar Church, Sons and Daughters International Inc., and Roots and Branches Prayer Ministry. Pam also currently serves on the Board of Trustees at Tried and True Parenting. 

Brent Billingsley

Brent Billingsley currently works as a Behavioral Health Specialist at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital. He is also the owner and co-founder of two local nonprofits which utilize art as a means of inspiring and engaging young people. Brent is incredibly passionate about therapeutic artistry and empowering disenfranchised youth through creativity. Brent received his Bachelor of Fine Arts from Miami University in 2013 before attending graduate school at the University of Cincinnati in Social work, where he earned his Master’s in 2015. Brent has received a number of awards and accolades for his achievements at Cincinnati Children’s and ArtsWave, a local nonprofit which aims to connect the community through art. 

Carol Rosenau

Carol Rosenau is an educator with a wealth of experience helping children succeed in and out of the classroom. Carol received her Bachelor’s Degree in History from Bates College, and she went on to earn her Master’s in Elementary Education from the Teachers College at Columbia University. Carol was a 5th-grade teacher in New York and Massachusetts before relocating to Cincinnati where she taught with Ohio Connections Academy.  After a number of years of online teaching, Carol opened a franchise for Club Z In-Home Tutoring Services in 2014. She managed a team of over 50 tutors serving K through 12 students in the Cincinnati area. Now retired, Carol volunteers with the Boys & Girls Club, The American Cancer Society, The Down Syndrome of Greater Cincinnati, Little Brothers and Friends of the Elderly, Last Mile Food Rescue, Luke 5 Adventures, and with many hospice patients.

Magnified Giving is excited to welcome this experienced group of new board members to support their mission. Rolling off the board on July 1st after several years of dedicated service are Bob Kelly and Casey Ruschman.
