$247,120.48 Granted, 191 Nonprofits Funded: See Every 2025–2026 Program and Recipient

Ask a young person what philanthropy means before they participate in the Youth Philanthropy Program, and you'll usually get a shrug or a guess. Ask them again after they've sat across from a nonprofit director, reviewed a real budget, and argued for why one cause deserves funding over another, and the answer changes completely. That shift, from abstract idea to lived experience, is the heart of what happened this year.

Across our partner schools and organizations, youth didn't just study community need. They investigated it, debated it, and funded it. By the end of the year, that work added up to $247,120.48 awarded to 191 nonprofits, decided entirely by over 5,000 youth across 175 programs who took the responsibility seriously.

The dollar figure tells part of the story. The rest is in the questions youth learned to ask: What does this organization actually do with its funding? Who is it reaching, and who is it missing? What would our support make possible that wouldn't happen otherwise? Those are the questions of a philanthropist, and this year, thousands of youth earned the right to ask them.
