Letting Non-Profits Know You Have Grant Money Available
Once you have determined which agencies you would like to further explore, you want to make sure they are on the Qualified Agencies list on our website. If you find an agency that you like that is not on this list, you will want to contact them to tell them to register with Magnified Giving. (Visit the Qualified Agencies page to see a sample of an email you can send them to let them know how to register with Magnified Giving.)
INVITE AGENCIES TO APPLY FOR A MAGNIFIED GIVING GRANT
Once you narrow down your list of Qualified Agencies to about 5 - 7 non-profit organizations (we will call these your finalists), you should look to see if we have the NPO's Grant Application already on file. If they have not yet completed a grant application for the current school year, you will send then an invitation letter informing them about Magnified Giving's program and the opportunity you have been given.
To do this you will download Magnified Giving's standard Agency Invitation Letter. This standardized letter will inform the non-profit how the process works and lets them know you are participating in the Magnified Giving Student Philanthropy Program.
REALLY INTERESTED IN AN AGENCY THAT HAS COMPLETED A GRANT APPLICATION?
If you are seriously considering an organization that has a Grant Application already on file, be sure to communiate with the agency to let them know you are exploring their Grant Application. This will open the lines of communication with them and help you acquire any additional updates necessary for grant consideration.
Here is the Online Grant Application that Agencies will complete.
