Presenting Agency Research and Site Visit Findings
Once groups have had the chance to review all applications and site visits are complete, smaller groups of students will often present their findings to the larger group. In most cases, the students are very excited about their agency and want to convince the rest of the group that their agency deserves the grant. In some cases, however, site visits don't always go as planned and students can be turned off by the experience.
Depending on the size of the philanthropy group, there may be multiple presentations that take place during a given session. Many schools have found it useful to limit the length of time for each presentation to a specific time length (ex. 10 minutes) and to be specific on the use of visual aids (videos, guests, puppies, etc...) that they will be permitted to use.
