Determining the Needs of Our Community

Students should discuss the numerous different social causes that their community needs.  This list should include the obvious causes that they know about - homelessness, children's services, and animal protection - but should also grow to include other causes that are not always on the radar - education, support to veterans, and the arts, to name but a few.

There are a number of resources for identifying these causes, and a quick search online for "social causes" will provide plenty of categories from which students can choose.  The challege is narrowing down the social causes that interest each group within your Council.
